This vintage piece is from the Chase Copper and Brass Company, marked Chase USA with a Centaur-Archer symbol, and has a nice period look to it. The company produced a line of household goods and decorative objects beginning in the 1930s and commissioned some leading artists like Rockwell Kent. Turning manufacturing to support the war effort, they ended this line in the early 1940s but produced a lot of wares and styles that helped define the movement in America.
